Speaking at the Trade Fair 2012, Uttar Pradesh’s Minister of State for small scale industries Bhagwat Saran Gangwar said the state has enormous potential for industrial development and that the state government is committed to creating investor friendly environment by providing all possible facilities and transparent services.
Gangwar at the expo inaugurated a web-based utility to provide for the automatic registration of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) for setting up in UP. The 24x7 online portal will provide facilities for online registration, including filing of memorandum and getting registration number from anywhere.
The minister said that in addition to industry, special provisions are being formulated to encourage investment in energy, education and health sectors.
The minister also launched another web portal to help entrepreneurs take part in various others national and international trade fairs at lower cost.
Gangwar also said that apart from better law and order, government is providing improved industrial infrastructure and facilities to investors to promote investment.
