Fashion portal Myntra.com has appointed Prasad Kompalli as its first Chief Strategy Officer. Prasad will set up and head the Corporate Strategy and Business Analytics team at Myntra to help develop overall strategy for long-term, sustainable growth and market leadership, the company said in a press release.
“Prasad brings 15 years of leadership and strategy experience from senior management roles in technology companies. In this role, Prasad will be driving various new initiatives, charting the long-term business strategy and operational alignment to the overall strategy. We see Prasad playing a crucial role in helping Myntra become dominant and profitable,” said Mukesh Bansal, CEO and Co-Founder, Myntra.

Prior to joining Myntra, Prasad was the Senior Vice President of Technology and Innovation Platform at SAP Labs. He was one of the Top 200 global leaders at SAP and held various strategy and general management roles.
Most recently, Kompalli founded a company for developing active medical implants for emerging markets and also has been consulting with companies in the areas of product and technology strategy, organisation building, customer engagement and evangelism.
