The national small industries corporation (NSIC) and ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to work together for the next financial year, 2010-11.
NSIC has been playing a very important role in the development of MSMEs, so its work profile and the target, for the coming year, have been increased. As per the MoU, NSIC will also take care of consortium formation to give tenders, marketing intelligence, buyer seller meet, organise international exhibitions in India, website development and making of catalogue under the Prime Minister's Task Force on MSME.
The MoU also carries the approval of the task force established by the government under the department of public enterprise (DEP).
