Waaree Energies\' facilities comprise of a 250 MW PV module manufacturing plant in Surat.
Waaree Energies Limited, a leading SOLAR PV Developer & Manufacturer, is developing solar projects of 44 MW AC in Central Japan, under the Feed in Tariff with Tokyo Electric Power at 36 Yen per KwH. METI approval has been obtained for these projects and other approvals are being persued, according to the release.

The Japan projects are scheduled for completion within the next 18 months. Waaree Japan KK had been setup in early 2014 with base in Tokyo for developing the Japan market for project development and PV Module sales.
Waaree Japan KK is persuing a pipeline of 200 MW in Japan for 2015. Japan is a key market for Waaree in addition to the UK, America and Middle East regions.
In November last year, Waaree announced its collaboration with GT Advanced Technologies for the development of technology and manufacture of products in the solar sector. Under this agreement, the companies plan to develop and deliver to the Indian market innovative solar products incorporating GT Advanced Technologies’ patented Merlin interconnect system.
