German Ambassador to India yesterday met Gujarat Chief Minister to discuss with her his country\'s model of imparting vocational training.
Michael Steiner, German Ambassador to India yesterday met Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel to discuss with her his country's model of imparting vocational training and skill development to the youth.
Patel told Steiner that Germany's Apprenticeship Model is well-acclaimed and Gujarat should take inputs and engage in qualitative vocational training. She said, Gujarat and Germany can collaborate in the field of skill development to empower the youth, which will give a boost to their employability in MSMEs.
Minister further adds that forming 'skill clusters' with the motive to encourage skill-development in the state will enable Gujarat to be a model state for vocational training and skill development. The German Ambassador gave details on incentives given to the German industries for providing vocational training to the youths.
