C K Mishra, joint secretary, MSME ministry suggested the entrepreneurs in Bihar to avail the services of National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) provided by the ministry to increase productivity, maintain product’s quality and to get a platform for export of their products. He was speaking at a session on 'Prospects of MSME in Bihar' at Bihar Industries Association (BIA).
Addressing industrialists and entrepreneurs at the session Mishra said “NSIC provides raw materials to the industries and also coal at Coal India Ltd's rate. The coal available in open market is three times costlier. NSIC also provides 75 per cent subsidy of the cost of credit rating done by reputed credit rating firms. It provides Rs 15 lakh capital subsidy for purchase of machineries.”
He also formally launched the marketing on polymer products extracted at the Indian Oil Corporation depot at Sipara in Bihar.
“This would benefit MSME plastic manufacturers of the state,” he added.
