PepperTap, a mobile first hyperlocal grocery delivery service has announced that it is penetrating into tier-2 cities that include Ahmedabad, Surat, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Kolkata.
The company will be associating with around 25 grocers in each of these cities to make its operations live in the entire city at one go. After its success in Delhi NCR and Pune, PepperTap is now tapping the unexplored markets of tier-2 cities.
The company will be hiring close to 900 - 1000 people including on-ground delivery staff to ensure seamless services in the tier-2 cities with heightened team strength in larger geographies like Kolkata and Ahmedabad.

With an aim to proliferate the concept and benefits of hyperlocal grocery delivery services among end consumers, the company is employing marketing strategies, using on-ground activations, digital marketing and a ATL reach. Furthering this expansion, PepperTap plans to foray in Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru.
