Delhi-based Qik Stay, a hotel branding and aggregator startup, has raised $250K in seed round of funding from venture capital firm, ID Enablers Pvt. Ltd. Qik Stay (earlier ZoZo Stay), was founded in June this year by Jasveer Singh. The startup aims to offer premium quality hotels at affordable prices and a standardised experience with seamless booking.
Currently, Qik Rooms currently has partnered with over 30 hotels in Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Kanpur and Lucknow.
“For a hospitality company like ours, most of the players are not focusing on customer service and satisfaction but increasing customer base right now. Which is where we come in as we guarantee uniform quality and services across all our hotels while at the same time not burning a hole in the customer’s pocket,” said Jasveer Singh, Founder & CEO, Qik Rooms.
Users can access the services via web as well as Android app. The startup plans to launch its iOS and Windows apps shortly. Qik Rooms will use the funds to expand its services across the country. Speaking on the competition, Jasveer Singh said, “Unlike our competitors who are aggregating all sorts of hotels, lodges, etc, we only hand-pick very few premium hotels at prime locations. This will not only help us eventually grow as a trusted service provider, but will also let the customers make a trouble-free choice.”
