Punjab, Gujarat, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra are the best states to start your own venture, says a study by KPMG. The governments of these states are bringing in policies which are entrepreneurship-friendly.
The study has been done by KPMG jointly with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). Gujarat is said to provide best facilities to the entrepreneurs because of its quick decisions, streamlined procedures and progressive outlook towards entrepreneurship.
While entrepreneurs of Gujarat and Karnataka are satisfied with the government those in Punjab are excited about the opportunities that the new industrial policies bring along with the awareness level about these policies. In the national capital the basic policies haven’t been revised in the last 27 years and awareness level about these policies is low.
