The GST regime intends to incorporate indirect taxes at both the central and state levels.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said the government was in the final stages of discussion with states over the amendments to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) which is likely to be presented in the winter session of Parliament, as reported by PTI.
"I am in the last stage of my discussion with the states on the eve of Parliament session before introducing the amendments to the GST law in Parliament," Jaitley elucidated at the India Global Forum meeting, informed the PTI report.
The Winter Session of Parliament will start on November 24.
