Digital Gorkha, a SAAS based visitor registration and management platform for real estate Properties, Corporate offices and Hotels has raised $160K angel funds from an angel investor Ramesh Kavediya.
The company monetises through a SaaS model, and there are two tiers of Gorkha, at Rs 7,500 and Rs 12,500 a month price point per society. At initial stage, Gorkha had signed up with two renowned builders of pune for 50 societies.
Digital Gorkha is founded by Hitesh Malviya and Suraj sunder, Application is developed by Ramakant yadav and Vinay Thakar.
"Our target audiences are all those premises which are using visitor book, almost everyone does. So There is a Big market opportunities for this product. Gorkha will cost Rs 50 per month for residents. We made this cost minimum for residents," said Hitesh Malviya, co-founder, Digital Gorkha.
Malviya came from a small town of Rajasthan. Hacking excited him in his earlier days in college. He started a blog on hacking in his 2nd year of engineering and later he started an online discussion form and built a cyber army with few of his hacker friends. He is currently working on three different startups, Mediico- A platform connecting patients with healthcare, Digital Gorkha - app which store visitor info in the cloud and Xpose - a parental control app.
Everyone has to fill details in old eared visitor book, if the person need to visit any office or society but that can be tampered by filling wrong details and mobile number. Any criminal can tamper these data and get access to premises and check out safely leaving no trace back in these visitor records.
Gorkha informed that it replaced visitor book with an android application. Gorkha brings a paperless solution to make visitor registration things more easy and faster. It verifies mobile number of first time visitor, capture his/her image, get his required information and send a confirmation SMS/CALL to resident/recipent. They can only check in once get confirmation from Recipients. Their data instantly uploaded on server and residents can view visitor information with their check in/checkout time from their dashboard.

"Recurring visitor, family members, staff does not need to verfiy their details again and again, they can directly checkin, application pulls data from their previous checkin. Your data will automatically uploaded from the Tablet to our secure servers, and everything is constantly backed up. No need to worry about manually safeguarding your data," said Malviya.
"If you pre-register a visitor, they will receive a beautiful email with the date and time of the meeting, along with information like parking, elevator instructions, the Wi-Fi password, and even nearby coffee shops. No need to track down a visitor's host if they're away from their desk. Gorkha sends an email, text message, notification when the visitor has checked in," he added.
