Skill Development Training under CSR for unemployed youth was inaugurated by Veena Swaroop (Director – HR) at CRISP Bhopal. The Skill Development Trainings are conducted by Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance (CRISP), in association with JBM Skill Development Centre in Faridabad.
Around 100 12th pass, school drop outs, SC, ST, OBC and BPL Category trainees mostly from rural background hailing from 6 different States, are getting trained in the area of Welding Technology. The objective of the training is to provide technical skills to marginalised & weaker section of the society and provide them employment opportunities and bring them into main stream of the society.
In the inauguration function, officials from EIL including, Adil Feroze, GM (Corporate Services), Sandeep Samajdar, Dy. GM (CSR) were also present. Earlier, Shrikant Bansal, COO CRISP, welcomed the guests and gave brief about CRISP and CRISP expertise in such kind of trainings.
R.K. Sharma, Head, JBM Skill Development Centre briefed about salient feature of the training. Rajesh Maheshwari, AGM and Chief Marketing Officer co-ordinated the inaugural programme and express gratitude towards EIL for sponsoring training including all expenses of the participants. The training is of 3 months duration comprising of 6 weeks class room and 6 weeks on-the-job training. The release said that the training was so successful that 19 trainees have already been sent to Chennai at JBM Plant (Ford Motors) for OJT.
