In order to help the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector realise its potential, the big businesses are assisting SMEs to develop business patters.
Big enterprises have superior technology, efficient manpower, huge capital and better marketing tools. Shortage of credit and inefficient workforce are major hurdles to the growth of SMEs. However, if SMEs borrow ideas from large enterprises, they can overcome most of these problems to facilitate growth.
Currently, it is observed that some big companies have started assisting SMEs to conduct research to help them better gauge their business requirements. The research focuses on means to develop a successful model for running business as well as encourage employees to hone up their skill sets in order to scale up performance.
