BSE-SME Exchange is planning to list around 30 small and medium enterprises. The exchange is expecting to raise around Rs 300 crore through listings. Ajay Thakur of BSE-SME Exchange said that the exchange is looking at meeting this target by the end of this calendar year. He was speaking at a seminar on entrepreneurship development by BSE-SME.
Currently, seven SMEs are listed while two have received approvals and other two are still waiting for approvals, out of 11 companies who had filed draft paper with the Bourse.
“These companies have signed mandates with the merchant bankers and looking to get listed on our exchange. However, we may fall short or go over this target depending on the queries we get. These companies could raise anywhere between Rs 150 crore and Rs 300 crore,” said Thakur at the seminar.
The average issue size of these companies’ IPO is Rs 5-10 crore (approx) and are particularly from IT, NBFC and healthcare segments.
