On the first day of Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) organised by Entrepreneurship Cell NIT Raipur, around 1200 students participated to learn skills of entrepreneurship. The final exam of the program will be held on September 15.
On the first day of Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) organised by Entrepreneurship Cell NIT Raipur, around 1200 students participated to learn skills of entrepreneurship. The final exam of the program will be held on September 15.
Students passing the examination would be getting a certificate recognised by the MSME Ministry, Govt of India and Niesbud, a government organisation and NIT Raipur.
In order to boost the spirit of entrepreneurship among students, the E-cell of NIT has started holding workshops under EDP in which students would be taught about how to start business and how to manage it.
E-cell of NIT Raipur is a non-profit organization run by students that spreads entrepreneurship among youngsters. Saumya Singh, Core Member, EDP, said, "It is an eight-day learning programme that consists of workshops and examinations, the first one was conducted on Sunday. Students from various leading colleges participated in the event."
"Around 12,00 students participated in the workshop which was conducted in three slots. Students who score above the specified cut-off will be rewarded with a certificate of immense importance from Government of India. The cut off is yet to be decided" added Singh.
