Under the Integrated Skill Development Scheme, person working in the textiles sector in Haryana will get the skill training during 2015-16 and 2016-17.
Under the Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS), 20,000 person working in the textile sector in Haryana will get the skill training during 2015-16 and 2016-17. The implementation of scheme will take place in seven district of Panipat, Bhiwani, Hisar, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Ambala and Rohtak.
As per the official release, the training would be provided by the Technical Education Department along with the enrol trainers in the sectors of weaving, spinning, knitting, garments, dyeing, block printing, embroidery, handloom and carpet.
It is being heard that the duration of the training programme would be around four to six months and the entire cost of the training would be borne by the government. The release further said that necessary action is being taken by the department in this regard and the training would start soon.
For the training, existing infrastructure of polytechnics would be utilised. Registration charges of Rs 500 per trainee would be charged and stipend of Rs 1,000 would be given to them after successful completion of the training.
Preference would be given to Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, Minorities, Women, school dropouts, persons with disability and those living Below the Poverty Line.
