Being one of the foremost countries to have adopted a National Design Policy, the design industry in India is aiming at the skies. As most jobs require a minimum bachelor’s degree, bachelors and master’s degree are considered as a professional degree in India. Such degrees provide the best foundation for a career, according to the Foundation of Interior Design Education. Satisfying the requirements for professional certification, these programs structure you to be the best in the industry.

Bachelors programs

Generally requiring four years, the program combines both theoretical and practical instruction. The classes include art and architectural history, theories and principles of designs, for building construction and designing materials. Practical classes are expected to play a vital role, enhancing the skills of young designers.

Masters programs

Master’s degree is meant to provide advanced training to graduates of bachelors programs in design and molds a student for a professional journey. Involving major practical education, the program offers various skills and interaction with industry people, exposing youngsters to the real industry. Including topics like construction, lighting design, computer-aided design, etc, students are made to choose either a thesis or an exhibition as a final project.
