This Is How Technology Is Going To Revamp The Education Industry By 2019

Educators are introducing new apps, gadgets, and devices, capable of solving and easing the education process. They believe that technology is changing the definition of education, which is from boring to fun. In addition, deeper forces are also contributing to the sector by introducing new academic discipline and computer science.

With the safety concern arising as a primary concern for parents, security companies are marching their way into the K-12 education industry. Educators are sensing a school’s safety as a profitable business element, contributing to their brand awareness and sales. Online threats such as the spread of misinformation and cyber attacks are presenting new challenges for educators.

Technology in school safety

Facial-recognition systems, panic buttons, social media monitoring… Name the technology and some organizations are ready to provide you with the service and product. So far, the adaptation of this idea is rare, which is assumed to boom in near future.

The change in parent’s expectation from an organization is likely to create pressure on schools to take steps for improving schools safety. The lure of new technology could prove difficult to resist.

Cybersecurity

Schools back-end IT systems don’t often get much attention until some threat is caused by hackers. Cybersecurity will offer instant response to such actions, providing the data’s to remain safe and sound.

With the introduction of cybersecurity, experts need to be hired, generating employment. Despite having to throw little money on the problem, will 2018-19 be the year where educators take cybersecurity threats seriously?

Introduction of gaming

Many educators view the game as a threat or a headache, believing that it taxes schools internet connection and classroom management skills. While others believe that they are one powerful tool for learning.

Competitive e-sports concept has already been introduced globally, which is expected to soon arrive nationally.
