On 8th November 2018, The Union cabinet approved for setting up the Central Tribal University in Andhra Pradesh. The government is planning to get it to establish in Relli village of Vizianagaram district. The expected university will come with necessary amendments in the Central University act, justice, and law.

The government stated, “Cabinet has also approved the provision of funds of Rs 4.2 billion for the first phase expenditure towards the establishment of the Central Tribal University."

Recently, the Andhra Pradesh cabinet gave green signal to proposals including the decision of setting up a steel plant which was assured in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014.

Such steps are expected to create job opportunities in Andhra Pradesh, employing numerous people for a better future.

Prakash Javadekar, Minister, Union Human Resources tweeted, “Central Tribal University at Relli, Kottavalasa Mandal, Vizianagaram Dist will help in overall development of this backward region of Andhra Pradesh.”

The Indian education system is constantly on a roll, where educators are constantly coming up with innovative ideas, redefining the education system. Rural as well as the urban areas are witnessing the rise of schools and colleges, increasing the number of student’s enrollment and business opportunities.

"The new Central Tribal University at Vizianagaram would start functioning from academic yr 2019-20 with students strength of 250. It would move up to more than 4,000 students in the next 7 years," added Javadekar in another tweet.
