Jyotirmayee strongly believes that a good team helps in building a solid foundation for any business, which is why she has invested well in developing her team.
She says, “We have always invested heavily in good hiring standards and culture of the company. We augment that with constant training and people engagement driven activities. One of the critical aspects for a fast-growing team is to have many leaders and I am happy we invested early for this. Some of our senior talents are under 25, and they’ve grown by handling large scale projects within the agency.
We work with around 40 different clients today spanning across e-commerce, healthcare, real-estate, BFSI and fewer CPG companies. We look at clients in 3 buckets: one, early-stage companies which are still exploring and establishing themselves; two, scale focused funded startups; and, three, established large businesses. Accordingly, we have teams which excel at aggressive growth or strategy and planning as per the phase of the business.”
Changes that Advertising and Marketing Industry has brought about over the Years
Jyothirmayee says, “Advertising and Marketing as an industry is one of the most dynamic. Especially the digital and MarTech related transformations are rapid and also disruptive. This has suddenly shifted focus towards innovation, which has to be driven by people and culture within the organizations. My advice to entrepreneurs would be to focus on key partners for the business - publishers - which is the traditional way of leading business in this industry and also build a terrific team and empower them as.”

Jyothirmayee says, “We have built transparency and trust as a culture across the industry. This has led us to ensure we always do the best for our customers: whether it is a decision was taken on behalf of them, for example, media selection, or result tracking or even billing.
I think there was a phase where consumers were wooed because of price differentiation or the showmanship. In the longer run, everyone wants returns and a good simple engagement that is successful. Of course, when they haven’t heard about the brand they could still be doubtful but in our industry word does spread easily, especially by partners whom we’ve worked with. Their positive recommendations about the agency and the credibility of our work goes far in assuring the necessary trust.”
