Digitization Making Its Way Into Government Schools

The education system of India has been dependant on private schools. The quality of education in government schools is not up to the standard. Despite many initiatives, India is still home to the world's largest population of illiterate people.

The Nucleus Software via its CSR initiative NSF Tab Program is helping the government school students by providing them education through tablets. They have transformed many lives and has reached 6000 kids of government schools.

Moreover, has partnered with Foster and Forge Foundation, and ConveGenius as a part for the project.

The condition of government schools in India

With the evolution of technology, our institutes need to cope up with emerging trends in the education sector. The Government schools need to focus and internalise technology in education. They also need to come up with new strategies and innovative ways to make education fun and less burdensome for students. Moreover, the government schools in Delhi have the lowest pass percentage among all categories of schools affiliated to the CBSE.

With the largest percentage of young people in the world, India needs to develop its human resource keeping in mind the latest innovation and technological developments in the education sector. They must be provided with working competencies and skills to make them future read.

E-learning on tablets

E-learning through tablets is a game changer in the field of education. The introduction of tablet learning facilitates the teachers as they get a better aid to teach. Tablets resolve the major issue of engagement of children, especially in government schools. It has improved learning outcomes and has a potential to increase engagement in classrooms. It also allows teachers to focus on the essence of concepts by using ink-based delivery and content and conceptual exploration.

By using tablet learning, there is a hope that the government school students start to develop interests. And soon, they would be able to compete with the children of private schools in all aspects.

Facilitating Personalised Learning

In order to provide access and exposure to our children, technology is the key game changer.

The NSF Tab programme has grown from a self-learning approach to hybrid learning approach now. They are providing an opportunity for government school children to enjoy the benefits of personalised learning.
