In conversation with Franchise India, Manan Sharma, CEO, Cafe Creamoholic, talks about the brand’s post-Covid scenario and the revenue it has earned during these times.
Headquartered is in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, Cafe Creamoholic came into existence at the end of 2016. The brand started as a cafe but it soon converted into a restaurant.Cafe Creamoholic is the first one to start a 24*7 cafe in Gandhi Nagar, which is one of the main reasons people got to know more about Cafe Creamoholic. It is one of the main specialties of the brand that it is available 24*7 and customers can come and have food items anytime.
In conversation with Franchise India, Manan Sharma, CEO, Cafe Creamoholic, talks about the brand’s post-Covid scenario and the revenue it has earned during these times. He further elaborates about Cafe Creamoholic’s franchise model and expansion plans.
Talking about the post-Covid time, Manan Sharma says, “We are doing really good and are not affected by Corona surely. We are still maintaining an average revenue of Rs 15-20 lakhs per month. Our annual turnover is around 1,80,00,000-2,40,00,000.”Post-Covid, Cafe Creamoholic is mostly focused on the branding part.
If we talk about innovations, the brand is coming up with a whole new branding. Cafe Creamoholic is also coming up with the branding of the clothes and the Cafe Creamoholic branded cups.“Currently, we are more focused on the expansion so we are working on every aspect of it and looking at how we can come forward as a brand,” he further adds.
We have come up with 2 kinds of franchise models:
1. Express Model
The first one is the Express Model that can be started in a 200-300 square feet area and it doesn’t always require a sitting arrangement. If the franchisee wants to have the sitting arrangement, he/she can have it but the brand doesn’t demand it. The investment varies from Rs 10-20 lakhs depending on what kind of furniture the franchise wants. This cost includes all sorts of fees such as machinery cost, franchise fee, minimum furniture cost, etc.
In the Express model, Cafe Creamoholic serves beverages and bakery items. It has 45 types of different beverages including frappe, tea, cakes, cold coffee, flavored-coffees, etc.
2. Cafe Model
The second model is Cafe Model. The minimum area required is 600-700 square feet with the required sitting arrangement. The investment required in this model is Rs 15-25 lakhs depending upon the furniture. This cost includes all sorts of fees such as machinery cost, franchise fee, furniture cost, etc.
The main benefit of Cafe Cremoholic Franchise is that it is operating on a 30-35% profit margin after deducting every expense.
Selecting Franchise partners
The brand believes that the partners should be passionate about the cafe franchise. Besides this, Cafe Creamoholic is here to help them out; the only thing that the brand looks at the franchisee is that they should be passionate about it because that’s the only thing that will help them run the cafe.
Cafe Cremoholic expects franchisees to follow the basic rules; however, the brand is always open to their feedbacks and suggestions.
Firstly, Cafe Creamoholic is looking to expand in Gujarat and after that, it will be expanding in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, etc.
Furthermore, the brand is coming up with two new outlets next month; one will be in Sindhu Bhawan, Ahmedabad, and the other one will be coming up in the city of Gandhi Nagar.
Besides this, Cafe Creamoholic’s main focus is on the expansion of its brand pan India.
