Look your best and feel more confident through cosmetic surgery

For Youngsters, first impression is the most significant as it boost confidence and make way for easy stay in new college or office. With changing lifestyle, young generation which is all set to enter in college life or joining new office are conscious about their appearance. Countless teenagers are queuing up at beauty clinics to undergo a range of non-surgical cosmetic procedures to look their best on their first day of new experience.

Earlier Cosmetic surgeries were associated with celebrities and people of the affluent class at a point of time, but today these surgeries are increasingly being taken by the burgeoning middle class who demand for it as per their needs and requirements.

Changing demographics is fueling the demand to look good and be in shape. Thereby, we see a trend among teenagers going for corrective surgery. From nose correction to liposuction, from laser hair removal to jaw line correction, from chemical peels to photo facials, from scar removal to skin lightening, Fuchchas or freshers are taking all extra pains to look best.

With growing rage for beautification, the business of beauty typically exceeds GDP annual growth and people around the world spend more on it than on other essentials. For instance, Americans spend their per capita income more on beauty then on education. So, one can say that India has some catching up to do here.

According to a Nielson study done in 2007, 84 per cent of Indians felt more pressure to look attractive than the generation before them. Also, as per the recent findings, 30 per cent people spend on beauty products and treatments while 36 per cent invest their monthly income on hair care and about 21 per cent get a facial treatment done monthly.

Reportedly, today, the average Indian spends Rs 7,000 in a year on beauty, whereas in 1995, people used to spend only 4 per cent of their income on this segment, which ultimately doubled to 8 per cent in 2005. This is expected to increase to 11 per cent, and likely to increase upto an average spend per person Rs 49,000 annually in years to come with a whopping multiple of 7k in a blink of an eye.

Why this is happening?

With changing time, we have seen technological advancement and access to mobile and internet has made people, specially youth, much aware and updated about the latest trends. So if any of the actress or actor is getting any skin procedure done to look enhance beauty, the same is being adopted by the people all across the globe.

For instance, when Bollywood divas Priyanka Chopra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra got their nose job done, while Kajol and Sri Devi got skin lightening surgery done, sudden mushrooming of skin centers and skyrocketing growth of aesthetics market was noted.

Thereby, we can conclude that cosmetic surgery and treatments has become a trend that is being followed by everyone, specially youth. These treatments do not have any side effect if done by professionals with acute care and procedure.
