Creativity coupled with sharp business acumen is the key ingredient that has gone into the making of these distinctive concepts. Clocks are no more a mere utility item serving the sole purpose of revealing time. Vehicles are no more driven on just petrol or diesel. Kids entertainment has taken a new dimension altogether.

Just For Clocks is a brand of S. T. Unicom Pvt. Ltd that has an experience of nearly two decades in the field of artistic furniture and home decoration. The brand offers an assortment of branded fashion clocks in the country. It is a one stop shop solution for creative clocks from all over the world. It is a multi-brand outlet offering iconic clocks unlike the classical design. The company is the distributor of the leading brands of the world in India, namely, Nomon (Spain), Nextime (Netherlands), Haoshi (Taiwan), Progetti (Italy), Antartidee (Italy), PT (Netherlands) and many more.

Ardee Eworld introduced eco-friendly hybrid vehicles in India. The brand offers portable electric scooters, dirt bikes, e-bikes, e-wheelchairs and other leisure products which have a utility value of their own. Vaibhav Sharma, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Ardee Eworld says, “Environmental pollution and depletion of natural resources can be reduced by making intelligent use of electricity. This is the reason why I introduced these fourth generation eco-friendly hybrid e-bikes and other hybrid electric mobility in India.”

Jocky Ride is a global opportunity that has entered India with the exclusive country rights of Pony Cycle reserved with Jockyride Cycle Pvt. Ltd, a concept brought forth by the business group, Love and Lips. It offers animal toy rides which not only provide a thrilling experience to children but can be used for physical fitness by all age groups. It operates on the principle of non power walking without any battery. It is an environmental friendly concept.

Brands taking franchise route

Just For clocks started franchising in 2014 and made its debut with the Franchise India Show in New Delhi introducing investors with the concept of an “Exclusive International Brands Designer Clock Store.” “The concept of this store will be successful only if it has presence across all premium malls and high streets across the country. Hence we have adopted the franchise route,” says Navin Kanodia, Managing Director, Just For Clocks. The company is looking forward to expand its social network through local partners. The brick and format store is supported with a full online e-store. Ardee Eworld started franchising in 2013. “We chose franchise route to reach out to the entire Indian population and make them aware of this technology,” says Sharma of Ardee Eworld.

Creativity on an expansion spree

Jocky Ride is aiming to make their products available throughout India. Shalini Khattar, Director, Jocky Ride says, “We shall create 10 outlets by end of this year and create more than 50 rental locations pan-India by 2015. As a part of entertainment industry we would like to ensure that every single customer experiences the newly innovated product in India, which is the main objective of the organisation. This we believe to do through our franchise partners who we support through every phase of setting up the business unit.” Just For Clocks has its flagship store in Kolkata which is company owned and company operated. The brand has finalised stores in Bangalore, Baroda and Hyderabad which will be franchisee run. Ardee Eworld presently has five outlets out of which three are franchisee run. It is seeking pan-India expansion.

Adding fervour to uniqueness

Once the concept has been introduced and attracted a good footfall, the task does not ends here. Innovation is required in everybusiness. “It is the innovativeness and the design which convert these clocks into art pieces. Nobody would like to buy same product again and again. To cater to these requirements, our international brands this year launched over 1800 clock designs and continue to do so year on year,” explains Kanodia of Just for Clocks. Thus innovation is needed to keep this business going.

Cost of shops at high streets is very high but high footfall, similarly on other places footfall is less. Kindly suggest how to overcome this situation or should we reach to the customer along with invite customers to our outlet.Anyway its a nice Article.
