With lots of franchisees looking forward to spend in the recruitment industry, the market is surely showing a green signal for a dazzling future. According to Rajkumar, Managing Director, Venpa Staffing: “Recruitment has 75 per cent share (Manpower) when compared with any organisation in the nation. There is no specific parameter for hiring potential. There is no company today which says we don’t require any Manpower / profession.” On the other hand, Joseph Devasia, Managing Partner, Antal International Network India, affirmed: “Antal Global Snapshot, a quarterly Hiring Outlook Survey, provides an in depth view on hiring across a wide range of geographic markets and industry segments. The survey found that the percentage of companies currently hiring in India stands at 38 per cent, a 2 per cent drop year-on-year and down on predictions made in June 2013. However, the level of companies shedding staff has also fallen, decreasing by half. This indicates a more measured approach to recruitment from Indian businesses, as organisations look to develop the managerial and professional talent they already have on their books. The outlook is set to improve as the number of organisations planning on hiring in the next quarter is set to rise to 39 per cent, hopefully indicating a return to optimism from Indian business.”
