The gifting industry in India has grown tremendously over the past decade. The income level has risen, people are willing to spend, demand has widened and customer base has been enhanced. The industry comprises of corporate and personal gifting. The former constitutes a wider share in the market. Every organisation distributes gifts on festivals and special occasions to its clients, associates and employees.

The growing trend of corporate gifting and gifting business has given a great boost to the franchising industry. Ferns N Petals has corporate tie-ups with many prestigious organisations in the field of entertainment, automobile, telecom, banks and pharmacy. Offbeat Apparels India Pvt. Ltd has developed exclusive T-shirts for renowned brands across sectors.

Strewing gifts all over

Presto has an aggressive expansion plan of touching 500 stores by the end of this decade. 90 per cent of the brand’s expansion plan will be through the franchise route. Explaining about the expansion plans Pawan Gadia, CEO, Online and Retail, Ferns N Petals says, “We are expecting to double the business in this coming financial year. Since we have set up our office in UAE, we are also expecting some new overseas clients.”
