Franchising the Eurokids way

With an ambitious vision of ‘offering the best educational experience to the young students’ of the country, Eurokids had embarked upon the development of a unique pre-school chain in 2001. Eurokids went for full fledged franchising since then. The result is that, today the entire country receives the same age appropriate, structured, scientifically researched and child centric curriculum delivered through 550 franchise centers in more than 210 cities in India. Clearly by another two years the number of franchisees would transcend 1000. What this model has done is that:

  • Built entrepreneurs by ensuring that the franchisees get profit out of their venture.
  • By imparting extensive training help the entrepreneurs to acquire the ability to run the well designed content successfully.
  • This helps them to attain the reputation and standing in the society.

No wonder, the franchisees of Eurokids show exemplary trust and confidence in the brand.

Looking at the macroeconomic scenario what is evident is that franchising as an activity is growing with every passing day. According to the statistics, franchising currently accounts in the single digits contribution towards revenue in India. This compared to a developed nation is meagre. However, franchising in India has a bright future since the factors are much in its favour: the spurt in per capita income of an average Indian, massive improvements in infrastructure, internet access and the Indian masses becoming more aware about global trends and brands. The growth of franchising is estimated to be 30 per cent approximately annually.

Franchising as a function has helped Eurokids to reach every nook and corner of the nation thereby enabling us to impart quality education, of equal standards to a diverse audience.

Given the fact that 90 per cent of the start-ups fail to exist beyond a year and 10 per cent of the rest vanish in the second year, Eurokids has not only stood the test of time, but has also ensured that the investments of the franchisees are returned with profit. Since in a franchised business over 90 per cent succeed, budding entrepreneurs, with a logical frame of mind and with decent investment capabilities, are drawn towards being a franchisee. Eurokids has succeeded in channelising this entrepreneurial spirit in the right direction and helped numerous franchisees succeed in their venture.

As a franchisor, Eurokids, thus, treads in the exalted frame of the franchisees’ mind.
