Eco-friendly idea!

It was when an idea struck a reality, a brand-Ardee Eworld Pvt. Ltd., was born. The idea that Vaibhav Sharma, CEO and MD of the company had, got a boost during his industrial tour to Belgium where he learnt the natives are environment friendly. To inspire people here in India with same fervor, Vaibhav started his own venture that is making rapid strides. He shares his entrepreneurial journey with us. 

Take us through your entrepreneurial journey. What motivated you to begin this unique venture?

Actually, this idea was in my mind since my B.Tech when I was working on my project. But when I got a chance to go for an industrial tour to Belgium, I observed that people there are very much aware about environment pollution and about the natural resources. They make use of electric vehicles as their main source of transportation. Then, I realised that we should also start thinking about all these things in our country as well. And then I introduced these fourth generation eco-friendly hybrid e-bikes and other hybrid electric mobility in India under ARDEE brand. I started this company last year only.

Are there other brands as well dealing in electric vehicles? What makes your products different from other brands dealing in similar products?

Yes, there is a company that has recently launched an e-cycle after our launching. But that is quite different from ours. Like we have folding aluminum frame, hydraulic suspension system, lithium powered battery, disc brakes, key start function etc. which makes our product costly, durable, luxurious and unique in e-bike category.

When did you start franchising?

I started franchising last year itself. I chose franchise route because of the reason that if we want to make all Indian population aware about this technology all together then this is the best option.

How many outlets do you presently have? What are your expansion plans via franchising?

Presently, we have five outlets out of which three are franchisee run stores. Yes, we are looking for aggressive pan- India expansion via the franchise route.

Kindly share a word on your eco friendly hybrid products? Where do you see your brand five years down the line?

It is the fourth generation eco hybrid mobility. We will hopefully have our outlets all over India.
