Salon businesses has a high percentage of return on investment (ROI), which provides reasons for women entrepreneurs to start a salon business. According to Bureau of Labour Statistics, 61 % percent of all salon businesses are owned by women, compared to just 30 percent of businesses in the overall private sector. The FICCI-PwC report says between 2011 and 2014, the Indian wellness industry will grow at a CAGR of 20 percent to reach Rs. 87,500 crore
