According to a statement issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday, “The Competent Authority has approved that Dr PG Dhar Chakraborty, IAS (JK:80), Advisor, Inter-State Council Secretariat, Ministry of Home Affairs, will hold additional charge of the post of Secretary, National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs, at the level of Additional Secretary for a period of three months with an immediate effect or until further orders."
RK Mathur is the outgoing MSME secretary.
