VivaConnect to raise $12 to $15 mn fund in the next fiscal year

VivaConnect, India’s leading mobile marketing company having the largest non-VAS infrastructure for voice and missed calls besides SMS, email and mobile app development has said that it will raise $12-15 million funds in the coming fiscal.

Vikram Raichura, MD, VivaConnect, said, “We are completely self-funded as of today. We do have certain debt, but that helps us leverage our existing assets to acquire more and more business. We are planning to raise $12-15 million in the coming fiscal,”

Raichura, when asked about the profitability of the company, said, “We did approximately Rs 20 crore last fiscal, and we are expecting 50 per cent revenue growth for this fiscal.”

Talking about the growth and expansion plans, Raichura shared, "We are going to root ourselves in international markets starting with Middle Eastern and South East Asian countries. We've received a positive response from both of these regions for the kind of innovative mobile marketing strategies that we facilitate on Indian home grounds. Over there, market is huge for mobile marketing services that offer connect at lowest possible cost or free of cost, to the end user.”
