A global leader in network antivirus and Internet content security software and services, Trend Micro, is now focusing on Indian small and medium business market seeing potential scope in it. The Japanese firm has announced Nevales Networks as a Managed Security Services Partner. Nevales Networks, headquartered in Mumbai, offers Unified Threat Management (UTM)-based network security services for SMEs.
“With cloud technology taking shape in India, we see an increased adoption of security from the cloud or security as a service by customers, especially in the SMB segment. The benefits to the customer are immense that include reduced cost, faster and better security, expert services to name a few. The latest partnership will reportedly increase Trend Micro’s focus on the small and medium businesses market with its services, including end point DLP (Data Loss prevention), encryption and Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) product lines.
Trend Micro’s WFBS services will be integrated with Nevales’s managed service provider business model, which will widen Nevales’s security offering to its growing client base.
