Delhi and the US-based online recommendation and personalisation technology start-up Targeting-Mantra has raised its first round of funding from investors including 500Startups, Nexus Venture Partners and One97 Mobility Fund, as reported by Economic Times.
A group of angel investors including Google India head Rajan Anandan and Groupon Asia head Ankur Warikoo also participated in the exercise that helped raise $1.1 million (over Rs 6 crore) for the firm.
The company, founded in 2012 by former Amazon executive Saurabh Nangia and management consultant Rahul Singh, offers a cloud-based personalisation platform to e-commerce firms that can choose from 25 types of recommendations.
In an interaction with ET, Nangia said, “We have seen high demand for our product, not just in India but also internationally.”
