Bangalore based mobile marketplace for spa and salon services Vyomo has raised an undisclosed amount of seed fund from TaxiForSure co-founder Aprameya Radhakrishna and investors from Singapore and GCC countries.
The firm will utilise these funds to expand the team, technology development and customer enhancement.
Vyomo is a mobile app platform for salon and spa services founded by Abhinav Khare and Poonam Marwah in June 2014.
Abhinav Khare is a Corporate Development Expert with 10 years of experience in 3 continents and 32 countries in the domain of Market Entry, Strategy Execution and Building Analytics products. He has an MBA London Business School and M.S. in Technology Management from ETH Zurich.
Poonam Marwah has got 16 years of experience in Operations, Internet Marketing and Technology. He has successfully led three new ventures, growing organizations and managed complex projects. She holds MBA from London Business School, Masters in Computer Application, PMP, she is also a US Patent Holder.
“We have a sales team present across Mumbai, Delhi and NCR. At present, we have 1500 salons and SPAs in our platform. As of now we do not charge any salon or spa for getting them inboard as we have enough of capital from the investors coming in,” said Poonam Marwah, co-founder, Vyomo.
“Through our platform, various and salons can promote themselves to the customers, cover the whole market, enhance customer experience and offer discounts. We have launched the customer App on May 29 and Business App for salon and spa in the first week of April,” added Marwah.
