The second edition of the Milagrow World SME (small and medium enterprise) Conference 2009 concluded at The Lalit, New Delhi on December 17, 2009. The theme of the second edition of the conference was My Way, My Vision.
On the occasion, a study by Milagrow on “Comparative study of MSME policies across Indian states” was released. The study recommends that 20 per cent of public procurement should be reserved for micro, small and medium Enterprises and e-procurement should be encouraged, amongst many other recommendations.
The two-day conference was attended by the minister of MSME; Dinesh Rai, MSME Secretary; Pravir Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME; and many successful entrepreneurs and experts from the field.
There were various panel discussions on marketing technology and human resources, which are important for the growth of a small business.
