Power2SME, TiE Delhi-NCR join forces to empower manufacturing start-ups

Power2SME, the first ‘Buying Club’ for SMEs in India has announced the opening of the second edition of ‘Spirit of Manufacturing Awards’ in association with The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). This annual award series aims to empower the indigenous manufacturing industry and is in line with the recently launched ‘Make in India’ initiative announced by the Indian government.

The season two of annual awards will focus on applauding and acknowledging innovation among home-grown manufacturing start-ups.The nominations are open for manufacturing start-ups with less than 10 years of existence. The winners will be announced during month of October at the award function, to be held at the side lines of TiECON 2015.

In its second year, the Spirit of Manufacturing Awards reiterates our commitment towards empowering the SME community and aspires to provide fillip to the manufacturing landscape. Manufacturing sector has been a key focus area for the government, and with campaigns like ‘Make in India’ and ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ manufacturing SMEs are receiving the much needed boost. With the second edition of the awards, we aim to reach out to more and more SMEs and invite them to be a part of the awards.”
