ParaBlu gets green signal for Citrix Accelerator\'s Innovators Program

ParaBlu Systems, the Bangalore and USA based secure cloud storage startup, announced today that it has been admitted into the prestigious Citrix Accelerator Innovators Program. By being selected into this elite program, ParaBlu will receive mentoring and guidance from seasoned business executives, industry leaders and venture capital investors.

The Citrix Accelerator Innovators Program is a three-month residency where small entrepreneurial teams and new corporate product teams receive training and coaching in leading-edge design thinking, collaboration and lean startup approaches. The program will help ParaBlu shape its product and go-to-market strategies to achieve success in the fast changing enterprise cloud computing market.

"We are excited to be selected to the prestigious Citrix Accelerator Innovators Program. This is an endorsement of the potential that Citrix sees in ParaBlu's product ideas around secure enterprise cloud storage and collaboration. ParaBlu will immensely benefit from this by being able to fine tune its product and market strategies with help from sharp minds and vast experience that industry leaders and VCs bring to this program," said Kameswaran Subramanian, Founder & Director, ParaBlu.
ParaBlu was established in 2012 with the mission of 'making the enterprise journey to the cloud more secure'. ParaBlu's core technology is BluKrypt, a software appliance based cloud security and privacy gateway that allows applications such as Back-up and EFSS to securely use cloud based storage in a vendor agnostic manner.

"Citrix is known for its innovation and industry leading technologies that empower mobile workspaces around the world and we are keen to encourage the growth of the next generation of technocrats in the country. Additionally, through this program, we hope to strengthen India's start-up ecosystem and support new ideas in the transformative mobile and cloud era," said Rakesh Singh, Vice President and General Manager - Citrix India.

Citrix is a leader in mobile workspaces, providing virtualisation, mobility management, networking and cloud services to enable new ways to work better. Citrix solutions power business mobility through secure, personal workspaces that provide people with instant access to apps, desktops, data and communications on any device, over any network and cloud. With annual revenue in 2013 of $2.9 billion, Citrix solutions are in use at more than 330,000 organisations and by over 100 million users globally.
