POKKT (Pocket), an Alternate Mobile Payment Platform, part of GSF Accelerator’s first batch in Mumbai, announces it’s seed round of funding from Jungle Ventures, a leading Singapore based venture fund and Samir Bangara, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Qyuki Digital Media and the former Managing Director (Digital) of Disney UTV.
POKKT (Pocket), an Alternate Mobile Payment Platform, part of GSF Accelerator’s first batch in Mumbai, announces it’s seed round of funding from Jungle Ventures, a leading Singapore based venture fund and Samir Bangara, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Qyuki Digital Media and the former Managing Director (Digital) of Disney UTV.
POKKT has been founded by Rohit Sharma, Ex-CEO, Digital Business Reliance ADA along with ex-colleagues Vaibhav Odhekar and Sharad Ingule.
Sharma said "With this round of funding, we will build our team further. We are getting great traction in the market and are confident of scaling POKKT multifold by the end of this year."
Sharma further added, that in partnering with Jungle Ventures for its funding round, POKKT would expand in South East Asian markets and would gain significantly from Jungle’s extensive network in these markets.
