On-demand grocery delivery startup PepperTap bags funding from Sequoia Capital

PepperTap, a quick on-demand grocery delivery service in India has received early stage funding from Sequoia Capital. The funds will be used to scale up the operations and build a highly-skilled team of more than 100 employees across all verticals by the end of the year.

Besides this, the seed fund will be utilized for creating strong offline as well as online visibility for the brand and to further develop the existing product. "The funding is being directed towards building a resilient foundation for the company and expanding its orbit across Delhi NCR," said the press statement.

PepperTap claimed that it is a quick on-demand grocery delivery service in India that provides convenience, on-time and on-demand delivery to its patrons, along with superlative services and hand-picked products. It aims to provide patrons with best-in-breed experience in the least possible time, by becoming the fastest grocery delivery service in India. The company is based out of Gurgaon, Haryana, and kick started its operations in November 2014.

Navneet Singh, Co-Founder, PepperTap, said, "The seed-funding will help us tremendously in our endeavor to carve a niche place in the market and become the best-on-demand grocery delivery brand that offers impeccable services across the country. The investment from Sequoia Capital drives our passion and excitement to build the brand and position it successfully in people's minds."

"As far as upgrading the application is concerned, it is a continuous process. It has been our constant aim to improve our application in terms of user experience and innovative design to make grocery shopping faster, easier and convenient for our patrons," he added.

It is a very good idea. Pl extend timely & satisfactory services to customers at low cost. Try to expand the services to Visakhapatnam, the city of DESTINY, A P. All the best.
