The government will set up around 30 more centres to make micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) aware of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), as per an MSME ministry official.
The ministry aims to execute this plan by the end of the11th five year plan. According to Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner, Ministry of MSME, Madhav Lal 10 facilitation centres have already been established.
At IPR facilitation centres, all the information regarding patents and other forms of property rights will be maintained. Consultation on how to file a patent application, trademark and technology, etc will also be provided at such centres.
