NewsHunt plans to create new categories in local language like videos, audio, test preparation, local language apps through mix of organic and inorganic efforts.
Local language mobile app NewsHunt has acquired analytics and mobile platform company Vauntz. Vauntz was founded by Shreyas Desai, Maruti Borker and Piyush Rai and they developed analytics platform and a social shopping app. They also worked with Flipkart, Khosla Labs, Philips and other companies.
Virendra Gupta, Founder CEO, NewsHunt commented that he was impressed with high end software engineering skills and talent of founding team of Vauntz and what they had built in such a small time frame.
