In order to achieve its goal of effective implementation of MSME schemes for sustainable development and growth of MSMEs in the country, a two day MSME-DI Officers Conference on "Policy Changes on Effective Implementation of MSME Schemes : Analysis and Road Map" was conducted by the Office of Development Commissioner under Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in New Delhi recently.

This conference, first of its kind, was held under the leadership of Uday Kumar Varma, Secretary (MSME). Dr. Shyam Agarwal, Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, MSME, for effective implementation of schemes.
The concept papers were discussed among seven working groups on Institutional Finance, Infrastructure Development, Technology and Innovation, Marketing and Procurement including International Cooperation, Skill Development Training, Planning, Publicity, National Awards, Institutional Structure and Action Plan.
Working groups constituted for detailed deliberations brought out implementable suggestions for the effective implementation of all schemes of DC(MSME).
