Mamta Banerjee told to a leading news paper that she would specially focus on micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) and labour-intensive sectors such as textiles, apparel, leather, jute, tea, handicrafts, gems & jewellery and agro based industries.
She said, "We will focus on MSME and labour-intensive sectors to generate employment. We will attract large private investments in engineering, tea, jute, and manufacturing and in all the fields which require such investments."
