Global PC maker Lenovo on Wednesday launched its first customised business store called ‘Think’ store for the SME segment in Hyderabad. According to the company, the exclusive outlet will bring ‘Think’, the commercial PC brand closer to SME customers and reiterates Lenovo’s growing focus in the region. The Hyderabad store is now Lenovo’s 7th exclusive business store in India.
“With a steady increase in our market share quarter on quarter, Lenovo is charting an upward growth trend in the SMB (small medium business) space. While SMBs are the driving force of our economy, the need of the hour is to effectively benchmark themselves vis-à-vis global players by ramping up their current technology quotient. Therefore, our focus is on partnering them to make a well-informed decision on choosing the right technology tools to help them in their journey to success. The launch of our Business store offering a range of ThinkPad and ThinkCentre products is a significant step in this direction,” said Ashok Nair, Director – Sales (South), Lenovo India, at the launch.
Speaking at the launch, Neeraj Lath, Proprietor, said, “We are delighted to be associated with a leading PC player like Lenovo that focuses on training their partners to ensure that we are fully conversant with the products on an ongoing basis. This enables us to not just act as mediators but to understand and advise customers on the right products based on their business needs. With the new Lenovo Business store, we look forward to offering our SMB customers a strong solution based approach instead of a feature selling approach.”
Lenovo’s SME business has nearly doubled its market share in two years from 3 per cent to 6.3 per cent. The company offers a range of ThinkPad Edge products specifically designed for small businesses, Lenovo said in a release.
Spread across 300 square feet, the store showcases the latest range of ThinkPad notebooks, ThinkCentre desktops, Tablets and All-in-Ones, along with a host of Think branded accessories.
