Kerala government has announced that it will make certain changes in its industrial policy in a bid to turn Kerala into an entrepreneur driven state and provide the right environment to spur growth of start-ups, as per a PTI report.
"We need to make changes in our Industrial policy. There will be small changes. The draft is in the final stages and will come up before the cabinet soon," P K Kunhalikutty, Industries and IT minister told reporters while giving details of the Young Entrepreneurs Summit (YES) held at nearby Angamally on September 12.

Pointing out that Kerala was the second state after Karnataka in entrepreneurship, the minister said that the state was aiming to add another 500 start-ups by 2016 to touch 1000 mark.
