India-Singapore based Crayon Data shortlisted for CODE_nInnovation Awards

Crayon Data, an India-Singapore based big data and analytics start-up has been shortlisted as one of the finalists at the third edition of annual CODE_nInnovation Awards, the biggest international enterprise start-up awards competition, conducted by CeBIT.

On the occasion, Srikant Sastri, Co-founder of Crayon Data said, “Crayon surpasses another milestone. We are proud to be the only company in Asia shortlisted by a globally renowned platform like CeBIT, this is a reflection of our hard work and the vision we follow at Crayon Data. As better products are an outcome of extensive research and development our taste graph is an exclusive product for consumers and business to make smarter decisions by simplifying big data and providing relevant and personalised sets of choices. The entire team has worked hard, and this is truly a validation of our vision of simplifying the worlds choices.”

Initiated in 2011 by GFT Technologies, the CODE_n contest is held as part of world’s leading business IT event CeBIT 2014 in the Deutsche Messe exhibition centre in Hanover between March 10 and 14.

It aims to recognise outstanding business talents and their exceptional business ideas, paving the ways for new trends in the marketplace. This year CODE_n received 450 entries from 60 countries, and 50 finalists from 16 countries were shortlisted to make their presentations in Hanover in the first week of March.

The finalists will showcase their ground-breaking and outstanding business ideas to investors, the international press, and more than 280,000 visitors over the course of five days under this year's motto: “Driving the Data Revolution”.

Crayon Data will present its Taste Graph, which helps consumers and business to make smarter decisions by simplifying big data and providing relevant and personalised sets of choices.

The winner of the CODE_n Award will be announced on March 12 and will receive prize money of €30,000.
