Bilateral trade of India and Canada will reach USD 15 billion by 2015 from the current $5 billion on the back of increased trade in engineering goods
Bilateral trade of India and Canada will reach USD 15 billion by 2015 from the current $5 billion on the back of increased trade in engineering goods, Arvind Mehta, joint secretary in the department of commerce, said while adding that low cost and innovativeness of Indian manufacturers would help boost Indian exports to Canada.
"Considering the fact that China is having an extensive presence in Canada, this event could be piggy backing on various other measures taken by the government of India during 2011," Mehta said.
Engineering goods export lobby EEPC India with the support of Indian high commission at Ottawa and Canadian high commission in New Delhi are organising the next edition of the "India Show" in Toronto aimed to boost bilateral trade and investment.
