The online home furnishing firm Urban Ladder has recruited 16 candidates
Multinational companies have offered around 487 jobs to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Madras graduates, says a PTI report.
"A total of 89 companies have so far participated in the campus interview and 487 offers were made, which was comparatively higher than last year's offer of 315", a press release said.
The PTI report further states that the online home furnishing firm Urban Ladder has recruited 16 candidates followed by home grown automaker Tata Motors which recruited 7 candidates.
Caterpillar India, Citrix Research and Development India, NetApp selected five, four and three candidates respectively. In addition, Toshiba Corporation selected one candidate, Tiger Analytics selected five candidates and First Info Services selected four students. Among all these, a top offer with a package of Rs 80 lakh per year for a candidate was offered by a foreign company.
