Bangalore-based HolidayIQ.com, a leading holiday information portal has recently announced the successful completion of its next round of financing from its existing investors Tiger Global Management, LLC and Accel Partners. The funding amount has not been disclosed by the company.
In another development the company announced its de-merger from Singapore-based travel search engine Wego Pte Ltd. HolidayIQ had merged with Wego in November 2010 and at the same time completed a Series B funding round.
HolidayIQ.com has about 30,000 Indian hotels and 1,300 Indian destinations listed on the website and is used by 45 Lac Indian travellers every month.
