Gurgaon based Refiral Solutions Pvt. Ltd has raised an angel round of funding of $330K from IT services firm, Cogent eServices.
Refiral was co-founded in March 2014 by Anmol Batra and Rajat Goel. Both are engineers from NSIT (Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology) and have two years of management consulting experience at Bain & Company. The firm has a small team of 10 people from diverse backgrounds.
In 10 months, both the co-founders have run Refiral campaigns for over 250 online businesses from across 10 plus countries and split across multiple industries, and have partnered with more than 20 e-commerce platforms. As per the press statement, the firm is receiving over 100 businesses self-signup on its website every month.
“We plan to use the funds to evolve our current product and scale-up business operations in India as well as international markets, starting with United Kingdom by the end of this month. We would also work on developing new tools and expanding our service offerings, moving towards our long term vision to help businesses increase sales,” said Batra.
“We’re excited to get the Cogent onboard. Both the companies share the same vision and we look forward to leverage their decade-old operational and strategic expertise to grow Refiral,” said Goel.

Both the companies Refiral and Cogent have also entered into a strategic partnership and are together building a customer support-as-a-service tool for the online businesses.
